This was actually her first year playing flag football because she's been competitively playing regular football with her being the only girl on the team and pushing through just like one of them. She enjoys being part of the competing team alongside her teammates. While giving her best whenever she's on the court or field.
Shayah was inspired but her father who passed away in 2019 he was her biggest supporter and cheerleader,Always told her that she can get accomplished anything she put her mind too she plays as well as the boys if not better. He truly love supporting her and still is her motivation for today she holds some deer in her heart at times riding his name or cleats and his picture or her band for her arm for her head. She carried her father's memory with her everytime her foot touches the field or court
There's been so many but the fact that my daughter has been unscathed by people's comments about her being a girl playing with all boys. It took them years to get a girl's basketball team in the town where I live at she remained the only girl to play football with the boys for years my daughter me all stars so everyday is my proudest day for her so much determination perseverance and honor and my baby's eyes I love that for her.
