Receive Text UpdatesJosiah loves being a pitcher. When he is walking around the grocery store, when he’s hanging around the house, he is always “pitching” using his mechanics that he has learned from his pitching coach. He loves learning new techniques to better himself.
Josiah watches baseball on TV and he loves the Los Angeles Dodgers. More specifically, he loves Shohei Ohtani. So much that his jersey number comes from Shohei’s number. He’s inspired by him because Shohei has always seemed humbled and grateful and simply loves the game.
Josiah is not by any means the tallest, the biggest, or fastest player out there, but when he hit his first over the fence homerun, I could cry because he’s worked so hard to get to where he is. He couldn’t believe it, I couldn’t believe it and to see the biggest smile on that boy’s face, it has made this baseball journey totally worth it.
