What do they love most about playing their sport(s)?

What Juan loves most about volleyball is the challenge of competing, constant push, and support he gets to inprove himself. He loves being apart of a team and teachings others they can go beyond their limits. I’ve watched volleyball teach him discipline, perserverance, confidence, collabration, and leadership. What makes me the proudest is his dedication and determination to always giving his best academically and on the court.

Who inspires them—on or off the field—and why?

Juan is inspired most by his family, who have supported him through every challenge and encouraged him to keep pushing forward no matter what gets in his way. Their hard work and sacrifices motivates him to give his best on and off the court. He is also inspired by his coaches, who care about his growth, discipline, and him as a person. Juan wants to make his family proud while becoming a better athelete, and person. Their support reminds him that every setback is an opportunity to grow.

What’s one moment in their athletic journey that makes you proudest?

The moment in Juan’s athletic journey that makes me the proudest is seeing how much he has grown, not only as a volleyball player but as a person. I have watched him face challenges, learn from mistakes, and continue working hard even when things did not go as planned. What makes me most proud is his determination to keep going and his willingness to support his teammates. Whatching him become more confident, disciplined, and passionate reminds me that his hard work is paying off
