My son is very good at always acknowledging those who have helped him get him to where he is. He works very hard daily and trains hard at his sport. His coaches, personal trainers, and us, his parents, & family & friends all inspire him to continue working hard at his passion and bring out the best in him on and off the field.
Last year, on the first day of his junior year season at his current high school, I saw that he stepped aside after the team/coaches huddle before the game. I thought something was wrong with him. I noticed he had taken off his cap and his head was low. I then realized that he was praying. It touched me deeply, and I realized that his faith is such an essential part of his life, and it filled my heart. I am so proud of him.
Colossal is a nationally registered professional fundraiser that inspires people to advocate for themselves and those in need. Through online competitions like Youth Athlete of the Year, Colossal offers participants the opportunity to make their mark while also making a big impact.
