Learn MoreJustin loves the excitement of competition, being part of a team, and challenging himself to get better. Whether he is playing soccer, basketball, or practicing karate, he enjoys learning new skills and pushing himself. Most of all, he loves the feeling of working hard, helping his teammates, and seeing his hard work pay off.
Justin is inspired most by his family, coaches, and teammates. His family encourages him to always give his best and never give up, while his coaches teach him discipline, teamwork, and how to handle both wins and losses. He also looks up to athletes who work hard and stay humble. These people remind Justin that being a great athlete is about character as much as talent.
One of the moments that makes me most proud is watching Justin continue to work hard and stay committed even when things are challenging. I have watched him grow from simply playing sports to becoming a more confident, disciplined, and supportive teammate. Seeing him encourage others, listen to his coaches, and keep pushing himself—even after a tough game—is something that makes me incredibly proud.
Colossal is a nationally registered professional fundraiser that inspires people to advocate for themselves and those in need. Through online competitions like Youth Athlete of the Year, Colossal offers participants the opportunity to make their mark while also making a big impact.
