Jyrome enjoys the challenge of working hard at practice, learning new skills, and seeing his effort pay off on game day. Football has taught him the value of discipline, teamwork, and perseverance. His passion, determination, and love for the game are what make him a deserving candidate for Youth Athlete of the Year.
My biggest inspiration is my dad. He inspires me because he works hard every day, leads by example, and always pushes me to be/do my best. Watching him coach, support our family, and never give up motivates me to work hard on and off the football field. I want to make him proud by giving my best effort, being a great teammate, and showing the same dedication and character he demonstrates every day.
Watching Jyrome step onto the field with confidence and determination every game. Never letting his age get in the way and always playing like he’s 6ft tall with no fears. Seeing him earn the respect of his coaches and teammates through his hard work, selflessness, and willingness to play wherever his team needs him means more than any trophy. Watching him compete alongside his older brother while giving everything he has to make his family and team proud is a moment I'll always cherish.
Colossal is a nationally registered professional fundraiser that inspires people to advocate for themselves and those in need. Through online competitions like Youth Athlete of the Year, Colossal offers participants the opportunity to make their mark while also making a big impact.
