What do they love most about playing their sport(s)?

What he loves most about baseball is the rush of a close game and the constant drive to get better. He thrives on stepping up to the plate when it counts, making quick plays in the field, and working on his mechanics. More than anything, he loves the team aspect—cheering on his teammates, building each other up in the dugout, and bringing heart, hustle, and high energy to the diamond every single game.

Who inspires them—on or off the field—and why?

He’s inspired by players and role models who lead by example through pure hustle and grit. He looks up to athletes who put in the work behind the scenes, stay calm under pressure, and put the team first no matter what. Seeing players push through tough moments and earn their spot motivates him to bring that exact same work ethic, focus, and positive attitude to every practice, game, and challenge off the field.

What’s one moment in their athletic journey that makes you proudest?

My proudest moment was watching him step up during a high-stakes semi final game for a chance to play in the championship game, with the bases loaded and two outs. Instead of letting the pressure get to him, he stayed locked in, trusted his training, and drove in the winning run. But honestly, what made me prouder than the hit was seeing him immediately turn around to celebrate his teammates first. It showed me how much he’s matured as a player, a leader, and a competitor
