What do they love most about playing their sport(s)?

What I love most about playing flag football is that it gives me the chance to have fun with my friends while doing something I really enjoy. It also lets me show the skills I've worked hard to improve through practice and determination. Most importantly, I want to inspire younger kids to believe they can play too. Football is something for everyone, no matter who you are. I hope that by playing, I can encourage others to be confident, work hard, and never be afraid to try something new.

Who inspires them—on or off the field—and why?

My family is my biggest inspiration because they always believe in me and encourage me to do my best. They remind me that if I work hard, stay positive, and never give up, I can achieve my goals. They are always there to cheer me on, whether I win or lose, and that gives me the confidence to keep trying. Knowing they are proud of me makes me want to be the best person, teammate, and athlete I can be.

What’s one moment in their athletic journey that makes you proudest?

During practice, I ran my route, but I realized I wasn't open for my quarterback. Instead of giving up on the play, I adjusted my route to get into open space. My quarterback saw me, threw me the ball, and I caught it with one hand over one of my older teammates. That play made me feel proud because it showed me that staying focused, thinking quickly, and never giving up can make a big difference.
