What is Youth Athlete of the Year?
Learn MoreWhat kaitlyn loves most about playing her sport is it’s a safe space for her. When she steps on the field she enters another great side of herself. She’s able to showcase her talents in doing what she loves. She also loves being able to bond with teammates and create new memories.
Kaitlyn doesn’t have a specific person but she does look up to a lot of the top female athletes in flag football. Since the sport is just now gaining big recognition, she loves to support and gain new knowledge on the bigger female athletes who were once in her position.
What makes me proudest is Kaitlyn’s ability to overcome pressure and go hard at everything she tries to do. Kaitlyn got injured several times during her flag football journey but supported her team at practice, and games. Once she puts her mind to something she is determined to give her all. She leaves everything on the field.
