On the field Coach Abe was Kaitlyn’s first real club coach that saw something in her. He showed her how strong she is and the potential she has. He helped her gain her confidence. Off the field Kaitlyn literature teacher Mr. Farrelly taught her the importance of a good work ethic and the importance of applying yourself into everything you do. Both men have greatly impacted her life.
Kaitlyn’s team had a huge win against another team to make it into the district finals. Her friend plays on the other team and at the end of the game Kaitlyn waited to celebrate with her team to go hug her friend who lost against her. She turned a really sad moment into a very heartfelt loving one. It just shows that even though Kaitlyn is very competitive for the game, she values her bonds and friendships just as much.
