Learn MoreHe loves playing shortstop. He enjoys being on defense & not allowing any baseballs to get past him. He is such a team player & win or lose, he’s making sure his teammates are uplifted. He also loves hitting the ball, he wants to hit a home run over the fence & he continues to practice & lift weights just so that he can.
He is inspired by many people, but he thinks really highly of his dad’s opinion. He tries very hard to make him proud and I know that he has to inspire him. On the field, he definitely admires the famous baseball player Elle De La Cruz. He thinks they favor in looks, position, and stats!
One moment in his athletic journey that made me the proudest was his first time playing on an Allstar team. I was proud that he even made the team, but he left his last game with the game winning ball due to a double play he made that won the game. The crazy part is that his dad & I had just told him how we thought he could get a double play after the previous game. Next game started and he took exactly what we said and put it into play! It was so exciting to watch!
