Learn MoreKamari loves being able to play with his brothers out there on the field. Kamari is a great kid that loves his teammates and coaches and will do anything to help them in any way he can he never complains about anything that's asked of him to do.
Kamari's inspiration is his family. Kamari's father is a former football player and athlete. Kamari's mother is a former volleyball player and college graduate in business management, while his older sister is an honor student at a magnet school. Kamari's family encourages him to be the best he can be, although he's not the biggest or fastest, his heart and mental toughness shines above all.
His growth as a player and athlete is what makes me the proudest. Kamari has came a long way. Countless hours and days of training not just physically but mentally preparing for the game. I love how Kamari embraces the game, also dealing with asthma, I know how tough it can be on him. I was hospitalized in 1993 with a collapsed lung during my youth football days so I know it can be tough. Kamari faces the same challenges, on top of that he deals with eczema and allergies but continues to defy.
Colossal is a nationally registered professional fundraiser that inspires people to advocate for themselves and those in need. Through online competitions like Youth Athlete of the Year, Colossal offers participants the opportunity to make their mark while also making a big impact.
