What do they love most about playing their sport(s)?

He looks at it as having fun with his friends not always so serious.

Who inspires them—on or off the field—and why?

Mom inspires him to be the best version of him. In each sport he has the opportunity to learn new things, and become better every day. He loves flag football, wrestling and likes tackle football. He understands that being a great teammate is important.

What’s one moment in their athletic journey that makes you proudest?

What makes me proud is watching him grow in confidence and discipline while still being a kid who loves what he does. Seeing him take those same qualities into choir standing in front of others, using his voice, and working as part of a group—reminds me that his athletic journey is helping shape him into a strong, confident, and well-rounded young man. I am proud of the person he is becoming through every practice, game, match, and challenge. I love to see him try new things!
