What is Youth Athlete of the Year?
Learn MoreAt 8 years old, football has taught Kam so much more than the game itself. What he loves most is being part of a team, encouraging his friends, and growing more confident with every practice and game. The memories, friendships, and smiles he takes home each season are what make football truly special."
On the field, Kam is inspired by his dad, Rashard Robinson, an NFL veteran. Watching his dad’s journey motivates Kam to work hard, stay focused, and never give up. He hopes to follow in his dad’s footsteps and one day accomplish his dream of becoming an NFL player. Off the field, Kam is inspired by his mom. She teaches him to be kind, respectful, hardworking, and to always keep God first in everything he does. She encourages him to be the best version of himself and reminds him to be humble.
The moment that makes us proudest is seeing him grow his confidence. Watching him go from being nervous on the field to believing in himself, giving his best effort, and never giving up has been more rewarding than any touchdown or win. He is ALWAYS encouraging his teammates, good or bad plays. He was awarded the fastest kid in Trinity for two years. It was a magical moment for Kam. He is the most humble kid, given God's best talent on and off the field.
