What do they love most about playing their sport(s)?

What they love most is the way sports make them feel. He loves competing, being challenged, and never giving up even when things get hard. Wrestling, basketball, and football each give him something different, but they all give him a chance to work hard, have fun, and be part of something bigger than themselves. As a mom, I love watching his passion and seeing how much dedication, confidence, and determination he’s gained through sports. ❤️

Who inspires them—on or off the field—and why?

The person who inspires him most, both on and off the field, is his papaw. He looks up to him and wants to make him proud. He has taught him the importance of working hard, staying strong, never giving up, and always believing in himself. Whether he’s wrestling, playing basketball or football, or facing challenges in everyday life, his papaw is someone he looks up to and learns from. He inspires him to be the best athlete he can be, but even more importantly, the best person he can be. ❤️🏈🏀

What’s one moment in their athletic journey that makes you proudest?

Watching him continue to push himself even when things get hard. Seeing him step onto the field or mat, give it everything he has, and refuse to give up reminds me how much he has grown. I’m proud of every win, but I’m even prouder of the moments when he shows determination, gets back up after a loss, encourages his teammates, and keeps working to become better. Those moments show me that he’s not only becoming a stronger athlete, but a stronger young man.
