What do they love most about playing their sport(s)?

She loves cheerleading because she loves to perform. She enjoys being in front of the crowd. Her favorite is being up in the air as a flyer and showing her tumbling skills. She also loves to be with her team. They motivate and push each other to be a better performer and teammate. They give her confidence. She is strong but definitely a girly girl. She loves all the sparkle that comes with cheerleading.

Who inspires them—on or off the field—and why?

She’s inspired first by herself — by her own drive to grow, improve, and push for progress. She loves the feeling of getting better and takes pride in the work she puts in. Her coaches also play a huge role, motivating her, guiding her, and believing in her potential. As parents, we inspire her by supporting every goal she sets and reminding her that she can accomplish anything she commits her mind and heart to. And above all, we place God at the center of her strength.

What’s one moment in their athletic journey that makes you proudest?

There are moments as a mom that stop me in my tracks — moments when my daughter reminds me exactly why I’m so proud of her as an athlete. She may be tiny, but when she believes in herself, she is undeniably mighty. I’ll never forget one stunt when she was just five years old. She fell, the whole gym gasped… and she simply stood up, smiled, and kept going. No fear. No hesitation. Just heart. That courage — that fire — is what makes her extraordinary.
