What do they love most about playing their sport(s)?

My daughter’s love for softball comes from its blend of teamwork and individual achievement. She thrives on the competitiveness it fosters, understanding that success arises from collective effort. Each player’s accomplishments build a stronger team, and they uplift one another through challenges. The energy exchanged on the field inspires her to grow. Through softball, she learns discipline and accountability, making the experience both enjoyable and rewarding. This sport fuels her passion.

Who inspires them—on or off the field—and why?

Her inspiration comes from remarkable mentors who taught her that dedication and proper execution lead to greatness. From coaches who instilled the foundational basics to those who emphasized the mental game, she has learned to merge these elements. This tenacity has brought her unexpected awards and recognition. Reflecting on her achievements. Yes, I accomplished all those strikeouts, RBIs, and home runs, is empowering and humbling. Ultimately, her family inspires her both on and off the field.

What’s one moment in their athletic journey that makes you proudest?

There are many moments that make me proud, but a few stand out. During her first year, she fractured her hand but never missed a practice or game, always supporting from the dugout. She led her JV team to two undefeated seasons on the mound. She promised her Varsity team that with support and teamwork, they would achieve great things. Those words resonated with the coaches, leading them to their first league championship and elevating the team to a D1 contender. Each victory was heartwarming.
