What do they love most about playing their sport(s)?

What she loves most about this game is the camaraderie and the life lessons that come with it. To most people, it’s just a game, but to her, it’s so much more. Softball has taught her how to challenge herself, push through adversity, and keep growing through both the highs and the lows. Every practice and every game brings a new challenge, a new opportunity to learn and a new experience that helps her become a better player and person.

Who inspires them—on or off the field—and why?

My mom inspires me on and off the field. She is my biggest fan and strongest supporter, always believing in me even when things get hard. She works tirelessly to give me chances to pursue my dreams, from playing the sport I love to supporting my hitting, fielding, and strength training. Her sacrifices and encouragement push me to work harder every day. I want to make her proud, just as I am proud to be her child. She is the reason I never give up and always keep pushing forward every day always!

What’s one moment in their athletic journey that makes you proudest?

My proudest moment was watching her overcome being released from the team she’d been with since the beginning. She was heartbroken and considered quitting, but instead chose a new path. She refused to let one coach’s words define her future and worked even harder to prove she belonged. Watching her turn disappointment into determination and continue chasing the sport she loves has made me incredibly proud.
