What do they love most about playing their sport(s)?

Kendall enjoys her teammates and being a leader for them. Setters are the quarterbacks on the volleyball court and she takes it upon herself to learn about her teammates. How each one responds to a particular type of motivation, how to inspire each of them and how to bring the team together as one!

Who inspires them—on or off the field—and why?

Kendall is inspired by her mom. Her mom has taught her the value of being a contribution to society, in sports and in general. Also The importance of being positive and motivation and hard working. Her mom always says you are only as strong as the sum of your parts. She is understanding and compassionate and instills those traits in Kendall, leading by example.

What’s one moment in their athletic journey that makes you proudest?

There have been many but 2 Are the most meaningful- -kendall was competing in FL and a member on the opposing team made a great kill, Kendall actually looked across the net smiling and said “that was awesome”. -there was a teammate who played the same position as Kendall, she asked Kendall to help her improve. Kendall took time every morning before practice to show up early to help her teammate improve!! Even though they played the same position, Kendall helped without a second thought.
