What do they love most about playing their sport(s)?

Kennedy loves the challenge and competition that dance brings, pushing her to grow each season. She values the memories made with her studio and family, and the friendships she builds with dancers from across the country. She especially enjoys learning new material at nationals and in the off-season from instructors nationwide. Outside of competitive dance, Kennedy also enjoys soccer and volleyball!

Who inspires them—on or off the field—and why?

Kennedy is inspired by the older dancers at her studio who set the standard. She looks up to Kinsey’s advanced skills and Marley’s ability to tell a story through movement. She is especially inspired by Phoenix Baisa, who invests in her students while continuing to perform professionally, showing Kennedy what hard work, passion, and commitment look like.

What’s one moment in their athletic journey that makes you proudest?

After not making finals or placing in the top 10 at nationals last year, Kennedy turned disappointment into determination. She came back to win 1st at three regionals, make the Parade of Champions, and place 4th at nationals. Though she pushed for more, we’re most proud of how she stayed humble, supported her team, and celebrated their many wins together.
