What do they love most about playing their sport(s)?

They love basketball because it is a true team sport. Kenyon takes joy in making plays for others. Basketball has brought him around the world and has played in Paris, Turkey, Portugal, Mexico and the USA. He has represented Team Ontario for the last 4 years winning 3 Gold and 1 Silver. He takes pride in playing the game representing for his family and country. His IQ and charisma is noticed and liked by players, fans and coaches. He grew up around the game but takes pride in his academics

Who inspires them—on or off the field—and why?

Inspiration comes from his father. He coaches and as a child Kenyon noticed how much of an impact his Dad had on players. He wanted to be part of that life and wanted to make his Dad and family just as proud. He is a true fan of the game watching NBA and College players like Steph Curry and Labaron Philon. He models their swagger and humble demeanor. Kenyon finds pure joy in making plays for others and playing the right way; a lesson learned from his Dad and Grand Parents.

What’s one moment in their athletic journey that makes you proudest?

Kenyon was 13 years old playing on Team Ontario U15 Gold Medal Team. He was just happy to be there but the competitor wanted to play. With limited playing time he stuck it out. Cheered and supported the team. In the Gold Medal game against Quebec, they needed a sub and called his name. He jumped into the game and made an impact. This was his first minutes of the game and he ended up playing the rest of the game. Making winning plays, hitting shots. Fortitude and resilience was instilled.
