Learn MoreKenzee loves basketball because she was born to shine. She is an incredibly dedicated athlete who works hard and pursues every goal with determination. Once she sets her mind to something, she refuses to let anything stand in her way. Her natural leadership, strong work ethic, and confidence inspire those around her. She leads by example, and her teammates and peers look up to her both on and off the court.
Kenzee’s greatest inspiration is her Dad. His guidance has helped shape her into the young woman she is today. He taught her how to put the rock in the bucket, but more importantly, he taught her the value of hard work, discipline, and earning the respect of others. Through his example and encouragement, Kenzee strives to be an athlete and person whom others admire for everything she does, both on and off the court.
The proudest thing Kenzee has accomplished is overcoming ACL surgery during her sophomore year and only being able to play half the season. Despite the setback, she still managed to outscore the majority of her teammates in the short time she was on the court. She continued to shine, make a name for herself, and work tirelessly every day to get stronger and return to the place she loves most.
Colossal is a nationally registered professional fundraiser that inspires people to advocate for themselves and those in need. Through online competitions like Youth Athlete of the Year, Colossal offers participants the opportunity to make their mark while also making a big impact.
