She loves meeting new people, making memories with her friends, and being part of a team that pushes her to grow. She enjoys working hard, challenging herself, and seeing her dedication pay off. Most of all, she loves the feeling of improving, being recognized for her hard work, and getting closer to reaching her goals and dreams through the sport she loves.
Gabbie Garcia from the University of Oklahoma is her biggest inspiration. She admires Gabbie’s confidence, positive energy, determination, and the way she never gives up, even after making a mistake. She loves watching her play and learning from the way she approaches the game. Gabbie inspires her to stay confident, keep working hard, and always try again. Her strong, encouraging personality reminds her that one mistake never defines her.
One of the moments that makes me proudest was when she delivered the game-winning hit in a very close game. With the pressure on, she trusted herself, stayed confident, and drove in the winning run when her team needed it most. Although they ultimately lost the game after, that moment showed me her ability to handle pressure, and step up when it mattered most.
