What is Youth Athlete of the Year?
Learn MoreKenz loves to compete and be part of a team. She is now on two all-girls teams and truly feels like she belongs. She loves improving her skills and will practice until she gets it right. She enjoys being around her teammates, pushing herself, and celebrating each other’s accomplishments.
Kenz looks up to her older brother, Blake, because he inspired her love for football. He has always supported her and encouraged her to keep playing, both on and off the field. When she would feel discouraged playing with boys, he would help build her confidence up. He was there for her first TD and ran up and down the sideline celebrating her.
It was her second season playing on an all-boys team. They often wouldn’t throw her the ball or include her in plays, but she never quit or got discouraged. Instead, she worked hard on defense and found ways to make an impact by intercepting the ball. Watching her earn her place, stay confident, and keep pushing forward made me incredibly proud.
Colossal is a nationally registered professional fundraiser that inspires people to advocate for themselves and those in need. Through online competitions like Youth Athlete of the Year, Colossal offers participants the opportunity to make their mark while also making a big impact.
