What is Youth Athlete of the Year?
Learn MoreWhat he loves most about playing his sport is the competition, the excitement of the game, and being part of a team. He enjoys challenging himself, improving his skills, and working together with his teammates toward a common goal. He also loves the friendships and memories he has made through sports.
His biggest inspirations are his parents. They have always been there for him, supporting him, motivating him to work harder, and encouraging him to always do his best. They make sure he understands that being a student-athlete means working hard both on the field and in the classroom. His dad played basketball and football, while his mom played basketball and ran track, so they understand the dedication, discipline, and commitment it takes to be an athlete.
One of the moments that makes us proudest is seeing him receive MVP two years in a row. It is an incredible accomplishment and a reflection of all the hard work, dedication, and time he has put into his sport. But what makes us even more proud is knowing that, win or lose, he always carries himself with respect and good sportsmanship.
