What is Youth Athlete of the Year?
Learn MoreI love having fun, learning new things, and seeing myself get better. I love being part of a team and cheering for my teammates. Softball, basketball, and taekwondo all challenge me in different ways. I especially love pitching and learning new skills because I like seeing what I can do when I keep practicing.
My mom and dad inspire me because they always support me and encourage me to keep going. They’re there for my practices, games, lessons, and tournaments and always cheer me on. They’ve taught me to work hard, believe in myself, and not give up when something is difficult.
It’s hard to pick just one! I’m proud that I became the youngest member of my taekwondo demo team and made the sparring team. I also made the Mass Titans 10U softball team and have been asked to join basketball teams in my area. Knowing that coaches see something in me makes me want to keep working hard, learning, and getting better.
