Her brother Karmelo inspires her off and on the field, growing up together on the field he has shown her his intense work ethic, clutch performance and continuous mindset to improve every day. Off the field that same inspiration comes from leadership. Helpfulness, sportsmanship, generosity and compassion he shows towards the community and our family. And his steady humility he shows towards everyone he meats.
The moment that makes me most proud is seeing my daughter continue to give her best, even when things get difficult. Watching her balance volleyball, basketball, soccer, and school while staying dedicated and never giving up shows me the kind of strong, determined young woman she is becoming. I’m proud of her not just for what she accomplishes, but for the heart and effort she puts into everything she does. Also they way she loves to help her teammates.
