What is Youth Athlete of the Year?
Learn MoreThe thing I love most about volleyball is the intensity of the game. I enjoy the fast pace, constant communication, and teamwork it takes to succeed. As a libero, I love the challenge of reading the court, making big defensive plays, and keeping the ball alive. Every match pushes me to improve, compete, and support my teammates, which is why I love the game.
The people who inspire me the most are my mom, coaches, and teammates. On the court, my coaches inspire me to keep improving and push myself even when things get difficult. My teammates inspire me because we work together, encourage each other, and never give up on one another. Off the court, my mom inspires me because of how hard she works and how much she supports me. She has taught me to stay determined, work for what I want, and always believe in myself. All of these people motivate me
One moment in my athletic journey that I’m proudest of is realizing how much I’ve grown as a volleyball player. I’ve learned to stay focused, trust myself and my teammates, and push through mistakes while keeping a positive attitude. Those moments taught me that being a good athlete isn’t just about winning it’s about how you respond when things get difficult and your willingness to keep growing.
