What is Youth Athlete of the Year?
Learn MoreWhat she loves most about all-star cheer is the feeling of being on the mat. She loves challenging herself, learning new skills, performing, and being part of a team that feels like family. Cheer gives her confidence, purpose, and a place where she can truly be herself.
Her biggest inspiration is her mom, who is her biggest supporter and is always there cheering her on, no matter what. Her coaches also inspire her because they push her to be the best version of herself while supporting and encouraging her both on and off the mat. Over the years, they have become like another family to her.
At a large competition last season Kinslee begged me all day to enter her into the “best tumbling” contest. As a mom always trying to protect her babies feelings I was hesitant and nervous as I knew she would be going against a lot of other athletes from all over the country and I didn’t want it to ruin her self confidence if she didn’t win. I finally gave in and signed her up 5 minutes before the tumbling contest started. She went up against roughly 25-30 other athletes and SHE WON best tumbler
