What do they love most about playing their sport(s)?

What Kinsley loves most about being a competitive dancer is the freedom to express her feelings and emotions on stage. She has always been somewhat shy, and dance became her outlet to truly let go and be herself. When Kinsley steps on stage, she forgets about everything else and completely immerses herself in the moment. She connects with the audience in a way that is truly special. Kinsley radiates joy when she dances and loves challenging herself, working hard, and discovering new ways to grow

Who inspires them—on or off the field—and why?

Kinsley is inspired by her teachers and her family. Her teachers believe in her, challenge her to grow, and support her through both the highs and lows of being a competitive dancer. They push her to become the best version of herself while always reminding her to enjoy the journey. Kinsley is also incredibly close with her family, especially her grandparents, who love watching her dance and are always her biggest fans. Their love and support inspire and motivate her every step of the way.

What’s one moment in their athletic journey that makes you proudest?

I was incredibly proud of Kinsley when she competed at The Royal Dance Competition National Championships this past July. She was named the Petite Intermediate National Title Winner and earned a spot in The Royal Circle, a callback round featuring the top-scoring dancers in each category, where she placed 2nd. But what made me proudest was the journey. Kinsley has fallen, stumbled, dusted herself off, and gotten back up every time. She never gave up.
