What do they love most about playing their sport(s)?

What she loves most about her sport is the freedom it gives her. No matter what kind of day she’s had or how shes feeling, she can let go of everything the moment she starts moving to the music. Dance allows her to express emotions she can't always put into words. It's her escape, her outlet, and the place where she can leave her worries behind and simply be.

Who inspires them—on or off the field—and why?

She is extremely inspired by the new rising music artist ADÉLA. She first inspired her when she watched Dream Academy. She was an amazing singer and dancer, but unfortunately she was eliminated. A year later, she returned as a solo artist with stronger vocals and sharper dance moves. She inspires her because even after being eliminated, she chose to come back better than before rather than giving up or settling.

What’s one moment in their athletic journey that makes you proudest?

One moment in her athletic journey that makes me proudest is her first time attending a national competition. She went without her team and teachers and she showed such professionalism with preparing for her dance as well as the long days taking classes and learning a dance with 200 other dancers. What stood out the most to me is even though she was out of her comfort zone without her teammates she cheered for dances, complemented costumes, and let others know when they rocked it on stage.
