What KJ Bledsoe loves most about sports is the balance between personal craft and deep connection. In lacrosse, he thrives on the quiet rewards of independent stick work—putting in extra wall ball time to turn split-second reactions into second nature. But above all, he lives for the camaraderie. Competing on the national stage brings the ultimate joy of pushing limits alongside his teammates and making amazing new friends from across the country who share the exact same passion for the game.
What inspires KJ Bledsoe most is honoring the team behind his success. Every time he takes the field, he plays to make his family proud—especially his grandparents on both sides, who never miss a single game. He is driven by the daily sacrifices his parents make to support his journey, using their support as motivation to push his limits. Fueled by family and a relentless work ethic, KJ keeps his eyes set on his ultimate dream: one day donning the legendary golden dome at Notre Dame.
As his father, nothing makes me prouder than watching KJ’s ice-water disposition when the game is on the line. Across the 2025/2026 season, his team faced four intense tournament overtime games—and every single time in sudden victory, KJ came through clutch. What stands out most isn't just his poise, but the trust his teammates place in him, delivering amazing passes in high-pressure moments. Seeing him calmly embrace that responsibility and execute for his team is a father's ultimate pride.
