What do they love most about playing their sport(s)?

Kooper loves competing and trying to be the best on and off the field but he loves leading his teammates the most. Whether it’s behind the plate at catcher or on the football field as the QB, you can always depend on Koop to step up and direct his teammates and pick someone up when they are down.

Who inspires them—on or off the field—and why?

Kooper’s favorite players are Adolis Garcia & Dak Prescott, he strives to be the best in everything he does and wears both of their numbers in the respective sports in the hopes to one day live up to their legacies or maybe even be able to live out his very own. He also loves his family and says that his mom and dad do everything to give him every opportunity to do the things he loves and never miss a practice or game. He knows they’re always in his corner and he loves making them proud.

What’s one moment in their athletic journey that makes you proudest?

Watching his leadership skills grow, especially this past season in baseball. From last year being the kid who was new to catching, to now being the kid (at 8) to step out in front of the plate and tell his teammates the situation, how many outs, what to do, and where to go with the ball… that is huge. Not only that, but sensing when things are tense and calling time to break momentum. His knowledge of the game and his team has grown so much and his leadership makes us the most proud of all.
