What do they love most about playing their sport(s)?

Kori and Carter love to compete! They love the feeling of being in a team and enjoy the interactions with teammates. They both strive to be successful and enjoy the possibilities of being someone their peers can look up to.

Who inspires them—on or off the field—and why?

Kori and Carter are both inspired by their parents. Their dad being a former D1 athlete and college graduate, pushes them in being the best version of themselves while competing. Their mom, a Doctorate degree holder, working in administration in the healthcare industry is a daily example of what pushing themselves in the classroom looks like.

What’s one moment in their athletic journey that makes you proudest?

Kori and Carter both qualified for Junior Olympics in 2025 in the shot put event. They both missed out in the javelin. Both set out be better in 2026. This year they both qualified for Junior Olympics in the javelin. Kori went from not qualifying last year to being 1st in the region (AR, KS, MO, OK)! Their resilience made us, as parents, so proud!
