What do they love most about playing their sport(s)?

Kruz loves the athleticism of sports. Showing up for yourself and your team. Working hard when no one is looking. Training to be stronger and more knowledgeable on and off the fields. He also loves being able to share the sports he loves with his friends! He LOVES to hear his family cheering him on, even though he acts like he doesn’t hear them. Kruz is a 7 year old typical little boy, he loves sports, his family and friends. And Shines at an everything he does.

Who inspires them—on or off the field—and why?

To Kruz, inspiration looks like the amazing catch of the game, the crazy tackle that stopped a great play, the athletic juke and score and the plays no one saw coming! Kruz admires so many athletes and is inspired by any play, or move he feels like he can work hard to recreate and produce! Off the field he is inspired by his daddy, his hardest coach, the man who makes sure he is over prepared mentally and physically! He teaches him athleticism, more importantly to be a good person.

What’s one moment in their athletic journey that makes you proudest?

I was the proudest of Kruz when he showed up for his 8u baseball team at a 9u World Series. Kruz’s 4th game of the hot Louisiana summer day he pitched multiple innings striking out several boys some 3 years older than him. Making plays as pitcher that made the entire park lock in on the SEMIFINAL GAME!! He and his team held the competition 1-1 until the last inning. His team lost 3-1 but Kruz showed up inning after inning and competed and never gave up as a 7-year-old. His demeanor was unmatched
