What do they love most about playing their sport(s)?

What my child loves most about playing sports is having fun, learning new skills, and being part of a team. He enjoys practicing, staying active, and challenging himself to get better every day. He loves cheering on his teammates, celebrating their successes, and making new friends through sports. Most of all, he loves the excitement of game day and the opportunity to give his best effort. Whether his team wins or loses, he leaves the field with a smile, proud that he worked hard.

Who inspires them—on or off the field—and why?

My son’s biggest inspiration is me, his mom. He sees how hard I work, how I never give up, and how I always encourage him to do his best. I teach him that success comes from hard work, respect, and believing in yourself, both on and off the field. He is also inspired by his coaches, who help him learn new skills, build confidence, and understand the importance of teamwork and good sportsmanship. They encourage him to keep trying, have fun, and always give his best effort, no matter the outcome.

What’s one moment in their athletic journey that makes you proudest?

The moment that makes me proudest was watching my son score the game-winning touchdown to help his team win the championship. Seeing his hard work, determination, and confidence come together in such a big moment was unforgettable. It wasn’t just about winning—it was about seeing him stay focused, trust his teammates, and rise to the occasion. Another proud milestone was watching him earn a spot on the 7U baseball team at Traction in Louisiana. At just 6 years old, he has shown dedication.
