What do they love most about playing their sport(s)?

Kruze loves the thrill of the game. He loves getting his teammates pumped up and is always anticipating the next play. He is determined to be a better player by learning the team’s strengths and weaknesses and working through them.

Who inspires them—on or off the field—and why?

Kruze knows the stats of all of the Cincinnati Reds players. Football stats are his specialty. He takes a special liking to De La Cruz and has his notifications set for all games. He loves going to the local Dayton Dragons stadium and watching the team play. He is a huge sports fanatic and pays special attention to their stats. He looks up the team he’s about to play and their stats before every game.

What’s one moment in their athletic journey that makes you proudest?

Kruze started at first base, his ability to see a ball coming is far beyond his age. That ability moved him right to catcher. He always wanted to pitch and one of his coaches let him try and he was striking out most of the batters. His determination is so amazing to watch and his coaches see the fire in his performance. All around athlete and what makes him stand out is his positive attitude towards the sport and the team. He’s always trying to do better and that is hard to teach a young athlete
