What is Youth Athlete of the Year?
Learn MoreWhat I love most about playing volleyball is meeting new people and making new friends. I also love being the libero because it has helped me become more confident while encouraging and cheering on my teammates. I enjoy helping my team improve and working together to reach our goals. My favorite part of practice is when we get to scrimmage and do conditioning, and even though it's challenging, it makes us stronger and prepares us for games. Those are the things I love most about playing volleyball
Laney Choboy with Nebraska Volleyball where she hustles and has great energy and I go watch highlights of her and put that into my skills and practice at home. That makes me want to go to Nebraska for collage and I want to go watch her one day and meet her. That is who inspires me to go on with my volleyball career.
Moments that make us proud is the grit she shows and determination to never give up. She accomplished big things as she was 10 at the start of the season and competing on a 13u travel team. With that being said she got an invitation to tryout for the 2026 SRVA All-stars team as one of the youngest players to receive the invitation. Her hustle and hard work and dedication to the game make us so proud and has been a huge accomplishment.
