Our son Kyler is the youth athlete of the year not because he excels in sports but because he enjoys life and honors God with his best.

Receive Text UpdatesKyler played a number of sports when he was younger from soccer to basketball but he enjoys martial arts for the teamwork with his coaches and others, the focus it requires and the discipline needed to get going every practice on and off the martial arts mat. He is always excited about going and often goes more than his scheduled date. It’s helping him to be a well rounded person and athlete. It’s life skills building and building his competitive advantage. We love this for him.
He’s inspired by his coaches, mom and dad because they encourage him all the time and support him and it helps him to give his best on and off the mat. But he likes seeing athletes winning and knowing they worked hard and were committed in their sport to achieve that. He knows what he has to do not just on the martial arts mat but in school too. His favorite movie is Facing the Giants. He wants to honor God with his best and that’s what really inspires him.
What makes us proudest of him is his enthusiasm before practice and after practice about going and then what he’s learned at practice. When he puts on his uniform he’s excited about it and he earned his first belt in a short period of time. He’s looking forward to earning even more. We couldn’t be more proud of Kyler.
