Who inspires them—on or off the field—and why?

Kyrie is most inspired by his mom because he sees how hard she works every day as a single mother to provide for him and his brother, Kaiden. Her strength, determination, and willingness to make sacrifices for her family motivate him to always do his best. Watching her overcome challenges and never give up has taught Kyrie the importance of hard work, perseverance, and staying strong no matter what life brings.

One moment in Kyrie’s athletic journey that makes me the proudest is watching him grow in both skill and character. No matter the outcome of the game, he always gives his best effort, supports his teammates, and never gives up. Seeing him play with confidence, determination, and a positive attitude—even after a loss—shows me that he is learning valuable life lessons through sports. As his mom, I am incredibly proud of the young athlete and person he is becoming.
