What is Youth Athlete of the Year?
Learn MoreWhat Kyrie loves most about playing hockey and soccer are the intense moments of the game, making the big play! Whether it be scoring a goal or making a defensive stop he loves when the game is on the line and being apart of the moments.
Kyrie’s Dad is who inspires him on and off the ice, because he played ice hockey and he wants to follow in his foot steps, but make it to the NHL.
One moment that really stood out to us as parents, even though Kyrie won MVP and was scoring 4-5 goals a game, was that after each game the coaching staff would chose a MVP for the game and they could easily have chosen him every game but Kyrie would pick out other players on the team that should get the MVP for the game and wanting to share the love with his teammates means a lot to us. That shows true leadership and why we feel he should be MVP not just the stats!
