Receive Text UpdatesHe loves having fun, being with and getting better. He loves the feeling he gets when making a good play or helping his teammates win. Sports is teaching him to work hard, never give up and believe in himself Most of all he loves being part of a team and making memories.
His mother Grandmother and coaches inspire him the most. They all play a part keeping him grounded on and off the court by reminding him never to give up, letting him know it’s ok to make mistakes because it only make you better. Teaching him to be a good teammate, always do your best and respect others. However, He is inspired by the late Kobe Bryant watching him continuously pushing thru difficult injuries but yet staying in the game.
One moment in my sons 🏀 journey that makes me proud is watching him continue to work hard even when things don’t come easy. I’ve watched him practice, make mistakes, learn from them and keep going. Seeing his confidence grow and never give up reminds me that 🏀 is teaching him more than just how to play the game. It’s teaching him discipline, teamwork and determination. As a parent, I’m most proud not just when he scores or wins, but when I see the person he is becoming thru the game he loves
