He loves the strong sense of brotherhood and camaraderie with his teammates, along with the pure excitement of competing and winning.

Who inspires them—on or off the field—and why?

I would have to say God. He led the prayer for his football team in most of their huddles. Before the game is parents. His teachers and as coaches.

What’s one moment in their athletic journey that makes you proudest?

When he qualified for the junior Olympics with this bear, his first year ever running track.
