What do they love most about playing their sport(s)?

Landon loves everything about baseball; the competition, being part of a team, learning new skills, and getting better every time he steps on the field. He genuinely enjoys being coached and takes pride in putting what he learns into action. Whether at practice or in a game, he’s engaged, excited, and ready to play. For Landon, it’s not just about winning. He loves the game and the challenge of continually becoming a better version of himself.

Who inspires them—on or off the field—and why?

“My dad inspires me on the field because he coaches me, teaches me new things and helps me get better at baseball. My mom inspires me off the field because she always tells me to do my best and be a good person. She teaches me to put God first, be respectful, do the right thing even when no one is watching, and always believe in myself.”

What’s one moment in their athletic journey that makes you proudest?

My proudest moment was watching Landon make the All-Star team after his very first season. Just months earlier, he had never played an organized sport. He helped his team win a championship, played shortstop, and was named MVP of his first All-Star tournament. Beyond the rings or any accolades, I’m proudest of his respect for others, work ethic and engagement in every practice and game. He always wants to learn, improve and reach the next level. It’s only the beginning!
