My parents - the support me in all that I want to do. They show me the importance of working hard and being the best version of myself. My cousin - he also plays ice hockey and lacrosse and sets a great example of how hard work and dedication pays off. God - I try to be the best person I can be in his eyes and treat others the way I would want to be treated.
He has worked hard to get to the level he is at now. He tried out for a higher level team, did not make it, but turned it into a positive. Instead of giving up, he asked the coach for some feedback on what he needed to work on to better himself and works on those skills everyday. He uses his setbacks as an opportunity to learn and grow. He trys to be a mentor to some of the younger players and encourage them to keep trying and work hard.
