What do they love most about playing their sport(s)?

“I love the coaches taking time to teach me, playing with my friends and teammates. I love the experience.” - Landon J Landon lights up when the skills he has practiced translate to gameplay and even more when it gets the team the win. His smile and attitude is contagious and he loves to share what he’s learned and learn more with every sport he plays. He wants to meet and exceed expectation not for accolades but because he knows he can - despite hurdles that said he couldn’t.

Who inspires them—on or off the field—and why?

Emilio and Eddie, are two teammates that are inspirational because whenever I strike out they are always cheering for me. Erin is another teammate that was inspirational because even though he wasn’t the best on the team he always tried his best and even when he got hit with the ball he got back in the game and did his best. Coach Mark is inspiring because he love baseball and teaches a lot of teams.

What’s one moment in their athletic journey that makes you proudest?

A very proud moment in Landon’s athletic journey would be him not making the Rookie All Stars Spring 2025. He was so bummed and so hard on himself. He asked to go to watch the team play in the All Star tournament. He wanted to know what it took but most importantly he wanted to cheer on his teammates who were selected. He worked so hard while playing other sports, practicing with his Aunt and brother and watching the big leagues on TV…in Spring 2026 he made All Stars! SO PROUD!
