Learn MoreLangley loves competing, being part of a team, and finding ways to help her teammates win. She loves the challenge of getting better every day and especially loves using her speed and softball IQ on the bases. Whether she’s making a play in the outfield, stealing a base, or scoring a run, she simply loves being on the field with her teammates.
Langley is inspired by the strong women and athletes she sees who work hard, stay humble, and put their team first. She looks up to college (Gator) softball players and dreams of one day playing at that level herself. More than anything, she is inspired by people who show her that success comes from discipline, faith, hard work, and continuing to chase your goals even when things aren’t easy.
I’m proudest not of one trophy or big play, but of watching Langley continue to work when she isn’t the biggest or strongest player on the field. She has learned to make her speed, effort, softball IQ, and attitude her strengths. Seeing her earn the trust of her coaches and teammates as someone they can count on, especially when the game is on the line… makes me prouder than any statistic ever could.
Colossal is a nationally registered professional fundraiser that inspires people to advocate for themselves and those in need. Through online competitions like Youth Athlete of the Year, Colossal offers participants the opportunity to make their mark while also making a big impact.
