What is Youth Athlete of the Year?
Learn MoreWhat Larry loves about the game is that he gets to be with his friends, which is his teammates. He loves the fact that they can hangout and play football and Madden all day. Also, he loves that he can go out there and try to do what he saw Justin Jefferson from watching him play or YouTube.
Larry loves the game because the game chose him. Larry’s family is huge and his entire family played sports at a high level, some professional. Larry knowing that his grandfather and father played and but watching his father coach college football triggered Larry at the age of 4. Larry asked more questions and started watching the LSU 2019 Championship Mixtape. From there, off the field Larry competes at everything and wants to win. Either at school or in life.
The proudest moment for me was when we were at a practice in Albany, GA at the age of 5 and Larry got push to the ground really hard doing 1v1’s. He didn’t cry or say anything, he got back up and competed but stop the kid from catching the ball and was excited doing it. From there I knew he was ready for anything.
