All of her coaches inspire her. They motivate her to be the best person she can be off the court and to work hard on the court. She looks up to these adults for guidance and wisdom as she navigates life’s challenges, not just her journey in sports.
Lauren has been cut from multiple teams throughout her life. She has also faced challenges on the teams she did make, but she never gave up. Instead, she continued to work hard, compete, and persevere through every obstacle she encountered. This is what made me the proudest because it demonstrated her resilience, determination, and commitment to becoming the best athlete she could be.
Colossal is a nationally registered professional fundraiser that inspires people to advocate for themselves and those in need. Through online competitions like Youth Athlete of the Year, Colossal offers participants the opportunity to make their mark while also making a big impact.
