Receive Text UpdatesLauryn loves the feeling of being part of a team and getting to compete alongside her friends. She loves learning new skills, challenging herself, and seeing her hard work pay off on the field. But more than anything, she genuinely loves to play. Whether it’s practice, a game, or kicking a ball around for fun, she brings so much joy and energy with her. Soccer has given her a place to be bold, work hard, and believe in herself.
Lauryn is inspired by the women she sees playing the game at the highest level, especially the players of Bay FC. Seeing strong, confident female athletes compete has shown her that there is a place for girls like her to dream big in soccer. She watches how they play, celebrates them, and imagines herself out there one day. They remind her that being strong, brave, hardworking, and a great teammate can take you far.
What makes me proudest isn’t one goal or one win—it’s watching Lauryn choose courage. Moving into competitive soccer meant stepping onto a new team, learning at a higher level, and being challenged in ways she hadn’t been before. She embraced it. She works hard, listens, gets back up when things don’t go her way, and keeps showing up with joy. Watching her confidence grow while still being the kind teammate who cheers for others makes me incredibly proud.
